The logo image of Highland Ross Leadership Development was not just whipped up in a creative seizure. It has deep personal meaning and serves as a wonderful metaphor for business ownership.
The logo has three components. The bagpiper is a solitary sort, representing the loneliness or stoicism of business owners. He is gazing out over the mountains, the Highlands, his domain with a watchful eye. The mountain domain is made up of all those things and people the owner cares and worries about…his business, his customers, his suppliers, his bankers and deposits (he’s Scottish, after all), his family, and his community. By his side is his trusty companion who will stick with him through it all…even death. That scruffy little dog, maybe a West Highland White Terrier or a Scottie, but most likely a mutt, represents me, your loyal business coach.
